Suitcase full of Puma
Some more of mine heading back to England with me for Christmas. Two unworn pairs and the rest have been lightly worn. Plan to take 4 pairs with me. Hope the weather will be good...
Like is says at the top of this page, this blog is an ongoing resource of some of Puma's better models. Emphasis is on the colourways and variations. I update as often as possible.
I tried to make it easy to navigate with the model name in alphabetical order on the right(below). All models are before 2005, dating back to the 70's. I have dated the ones I'm certain with the year, some I've dated with the decade, and others that I'm uncertain, I've left blank. I have included some of mine which are watermarked with my nickname, "sheddy". Most of the other shoes have been sourced from the internet, with the odd submission from other fans of the shoes. Anything that shouldn't be here, please contact me and I'll remove it asap.
I bought my first pair of navy Puma Suedes in about 1991...come to think of it, they were probably Puma States, which is how they were apparently labelled in the UK at the time. I try to source out Suedes from the 1990's. I like that era of Suedes, plus the fact that it's harder to find a pair from the 80's...add to the fact that they're often out of my price range. Puma's quality of its shoes survives the test of time. A deadstock pair that may be 10-20 years old will look as good as new, as long as they've been well-stored, and money well spent.
