Puma Suede in CCFC colours

This is my first post in a long while.
Absent from updating the blog for a long while due to several reasons...

After going over the stats of this blog, I'm pleased to see that we're hitting over 20,500 views.
I think that speaks volumes for the popularity of Puma in general as this is only a small blog amongst an evergrowing number of Puma fan sites.
Talking of fan sites, Instagram is a now good source to look for Puma trainers, both vintage and new...and everything in between.
Things changed with the decline in user activity over at Crooked Tongues, which was indeed a shame.
Still, most of the photos in the Puma threads are more than worth a look if you're relatively new to all of this.

If you've got an Instagram account, just check out #pumasuede and you'll be hit with an evergrowing collection of Suedes from "collectors".

I'm hoping to update (again) soon, but for now here's my sky blue and navy suedes from 2002 which I put up on Instagram.

Puma States x Shadow Society

Big thanks to Puma and the mysterious and, ultimately secretive, chap behind Shadow Society.
The overall shape is better than I expected, and my doubt was down to my own view from seeing a few pics early on.
Puma has been working hard on rectifying the shape, namely the "banana" sole and "wonky" form strip, since 2005.
From the forums these States received great reviews.
It was only when I got this pair through the post and could see them in the flesh, casting all doubt aside.
The shape is good and the choice of materials is fine.

This isn't really a review as such - it's just that these were given to me, so if possible,I want to share my appreciation by posting them on here.

If you're after a pair of Puma for the coming spring and summer, take a look at these.
They come in 3 other colourways, too as well as 2 gum-soled versions.

Suitcase full of Puma

Some more of mine heading back to England with me for Christmas.
Two unworn pairs and the rest have been lightly worn.
Plan to take 4 pairs with me.
Hope the weather will be good...
